    Bad Simba Chippie

    Dear Simba,

on 11 November last year I bought a packet of Doritos from the corner
store on Roodebloem Road, Woodstock. (as one does)

Unfortunately, this time I was unlucky in that one of the chippies in
my packet was somewhat black & nasty.

Please see the attached photo with said chippie and the barcode of the
    packet I bought.

Would it be possible for you to replace this chippie, even though I've
lost it by now and won't be able to bring it in for repairs?

    Kind regards,
    Henk

    Dear Henk

I'm sorry to hear about your encounter with this poor, withered chippie. It appears to have found its way into the wrong bag!

Thank you for your kind intention to bring the chippie in for repairs; normally, we cover all returns-related shipping charges. Unfortunately, our replacement policy strictly requires all original items to be returned in saleable condition. Original packaging is not required, as we would probably have resold this particular chippie under the "Super-Charrrred Extra Carbon BBQ" flavour (after appropriate safety tests, including written confirmation from you that, if dropped, it was recovered according to the restrictions of the 10 Second Rule).

Please accept with Simba's compliments a 20-unit box of Simba "Super-Charrrred Extra Carbon BBQ" Dorito chippies by way of compensation for this unfortunate occurrence. They're grrrreat!

    Warm regards
    Anton
